Ulothrix
Green alga
Ulothrix spp., Green filamentous algae. A genus of filamentous algae found in freshwater and damp terrestrial habitats, such as a the north facing drystone wall as seen in these examples. The cells along the filament are generally wider than long, with a dome shaped apical cell.
